Portland's Tony Armijo Injured

After injuring himself, Mad Ants reliever Tony Armijo headed straight to the hospital. He was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing a pitch, and the team's worst fears were confirmed when it turned out to be a little more serious. Armijo will miss at least 4 months with shoulder inflammation.
So far this season, Armijo has worked 8 innings in 6 relief appearances with 0 saves. He has dished out 9 strikeouts and walked 1 with a 1-0 mark and a 0.00 ERA.
