Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for Montreal

It's been a year to forget for the Montreal Canadiens and the club has now been mathematically eliminated from postseason contention.
Montreal last appeared in the postseason in 2010. This is their 15th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 22 times in their 26-year history.
