The future looks extremely bright for Andrew Flynn. At the age of 23, many players are still trying to find their way in ABA Development League.
Flynn has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Stars Conference Most Valuable Player Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .287 this year, that's for sure," the shortstop said.
The Hartford Matadors star also put up a .351 on-base percentage this year, with 130 hits, 22 doubles, 2 triples, 21 home runs, 76 RBIs and 59 runs scored.
He received 22 first place votes out of a possible 24. Steve Fites of the Nashville Lasers finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Brian Hendrix of the Montreal Royals finished third.
