Joe West Out for Season
Tuesday, July 14th , 2026
Joe West of the Aces just might have to call it quits for the season. The 28-year-old Quebec second baseman received a possible season-ending injury against the Hickory Crawdads recently at Belmont Park. West suffered a torn meniscus while running the bases. The Aces medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 5 months.
This year, West is hitting at a .280 pace with 2 home runs and 24 RBIs. He has played in 70 games and scored 39 times.
