Rookie Hartford Matadors' second baseman Leads Stars Conference to Win in Annual All-Star Game

The best players the AAA has to offer took to Ballpark of Tacoma tonight for an all-star showcase.
When the dust settled, the Stars Conference bested the Stripes Conference by a score of 12-7.
Helping the Stars Conference to victory was Chris Flowers, who said it's a memory he'll cherish.
"You can tell your kids and your grandkids some day that you were the MVP of the all-star game, that's a cool moment," he said.

Quebec's Moralez Out 4-5 Months

When Justin Moralez was hurt against the Spokane Selects, the Quebec Aces were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 27-year-old second baseman suffered a torn labrum colliding with a player at a base in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Moralez would miss 4-5 months of the season.
This year, Moralez is batting .298 with 25 hits and 4 home runs. He has scored 9 times and has batted in 11 runs.
