3-HR Binge for Pakpahan Against Quebec
Saturday, June 13th , 2026
Spokane Selects bombardier Mulyo Pakpahan set his sights on the stands and blasted three balls over the fence as his club beat the Quebec Aces, 8-3.
"I guess you could say I was a good guesser today, especially on the last one," Pakpahan told writers in the postgame press room. "I was ahead in the count, so I gambled that I'd get a certain pitch, and got all of it."
For the game, the Spokane catcher had 4 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 4, and scored 3 runs.
Mulyo Pakpahan struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Marquise Robinson in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Marquise Robinson in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Joey Dykema in the 9th.
For the season, Pakpahan is batting .400 with 8 hits and 3 home runs. He has scored 4 times and batted in 5.

Mike Jardel Sidelined for Season

The news is bad in Baxter Springs. The Marshals have lost the services of second baseman Mike Jardel for the rest of the season due to a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Jardel was injured in a recent game with the Glendale Muskies while throwing the ball and is expected to miss 7-8 months.
So far this season, Jardel is batting .293 with 1 home run.

Sindt Blanks Dillonvale, 8-0

In a remarkable performance, Spokane Selects starter Tim Sindt beat the Dillonvale Indians, 8-0, in an impressive 3-hit shutout.
"My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this."
The Selects hurler finished with 5 strikeouts and 2 walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball.
"It was a rough one for my guys," Dillonvale manager Markus Mensink said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
