Montreal Moves on to League Championship Series

The Montreal Royals and Fremont Marshalls didn't hold back anything in the Division Series, with each team pulling out all the stops in an effort to advance to the League Championship Series.

Montreal won the final game by a score of 7-5 at Hedgehogs Park and that concluded the series, 4-3.

"Relief is the biggest thing," Montreal center fielder Takenori Murayama said when asked how he felt. "It's a grind both mentally and physically to have a long series like this, but our guys stuck with it and Fremont deserves credit for the hard fight."

Murayama paced the Montreal offence and earned MVP honors. For the series, he hit .400 with a .471 on-base percentage, 4 home runs, 7 RBI and scored 10 runs.

The Montreal Royals will play against the Nashville Lasers in the next round. Nashville won their series against the Baxter Springs Marshals 4 games to 2. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.

Division Series Goes the Distance, Palm Springs Prevails

The Palm Springs Heat and Orono Oaks hooked up in a classic Division Series that went right down to the wire.

In the end, it's Palm Springs heading off to the League Championship Series, after a 3-2 win at Heat Ballpark tonight earned the 4-3 series win.

Outside Heat Ballpark, whether they were supporters of Palm Springs or Orono, many fans talked about how it was a series they would never forget.

T.J. Cray played the hero for the Heat in the series, as his MVP performance included a .407 batting average, with a .448 on-base percentage. He also had 0 home runs, 0 RBI and scored 5 runs.

The Palm Springs Heat will play against the Hickory Crawdads in the next round. Hickory won their series against the Westwood Bruins 4 games to 2. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.

Nashville Wins Division Series
Monday, September 22nd , 2025
The Nashville Lasers will continue the trek towards a World Series title, while the Baxter Springs Marshals are headed home for the season.

Nashville won the Division Series with a clinching game 3-0 victory at Lasers Ballpark, concluding the series at 4-2.

"We didn't want this thing to go any further, that's for sure," Hector Landa said after officially being named series MVP.

He turned in a dominant offensive performance to win the award, with a .294 batting average, .478 on-base percentage, 2 home runs, 4 RBI and 5 runs scored.

The Nashville Lasers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Montreal Royals - Fremont Marshalls series. Fremont leads the series 3 games to 2. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
