Pete Roan Nabs Best Player Trophy

Pete Roan took ABA Development League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 22.
For his spectacular campaign, the Orono Oaks star has been named the 2024 Stripes Conference Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the first baseman.
On the season he compiled a .313 batting average to go with a .376 on-base percentage. The native of Owasso, Oklahoma also added 29 doubles, 8 triples, 32 home runs, 107 RBIs and 97 runs scored.
He received 23 first place votes out of a possible 24. Joel Patrick of the Westwood Bruins finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Ben Leonardi of the Quebec Fighting Quakers finished third.
