Stars Conference Names Top Player Friday, October 24th , 2025 Felipe Hinojos of the Portland Mad Ants proved that you can step out of the shadows and onto the stage if you've got the talent and the drive to hone your skills. Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the Stars Conference Most Valuable Player Award.
Hinojos hit for a .278 average while collecting 141 hits, 14 doubles, 1 triple, 37 home runs, 80 RBIs and scoring 86 times.

The Orono Oaks have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Bill Frazer, this year's Stripes Conference Pitcher of the Year Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance.
Frazer compiled a 19-5 record in 29 starts, tallied 148 strikeouts in 213.1 innings and recorded a 1.90 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .243 batting average against him.
