Montreal-Hartford Fight Results in Suspensions

Takenori Murayama of Montreal and Glen Foster of Hartford were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Murayama will have to miss 5 games for his part in the brawl, while Foster was given 3 games. League officials announced their suspensions today.
In 2026 Murayama has hit at a .246 clip with 33 hits, 5 home runs, 20 RBIs and has scored 21 times.
This season, Foster has claimed no saves and registered a 1-1 record with a 7.30 ERA. He has 10 relief appearances spanning 12.1 innings and has struck out 13.
