Crawdads Crowned Kings of the Stripes Conference West Division
Friday, September 13th , 2024
It's a banner year for the Hickory Crawdads, they have won the Stripes Conference West Division.
"There's so much pride in our room and on our roster, anything but a division title wouldn't have been acceptable," said reliever Frank Sarabia. "In the playoffs we'll just have to take it one day at a time and keep battling."
The Crawdads this year have battled to a 90-53 mark, which is good for the club's 4th Stripes Conference West Division title.
"I'm extremely proud of my players and look forward to seeing what we can do in the postseason," said manager Ray Sanchez.

Fremont Captures Stars Conference West Division Crown
Wednesday, September 11th , 2024
While it remains to be seen what the playoffs will bring for the Fremont Marshalls, the club took the first step by clinching the Stars Conference West Division title.
"It's exactly where we wanted to be and where we talked about being during spring training," said closer Jonathan Reeher. "There's not a guy in the room that doesn't believe in this team. We're all pulling in the same direction right now."
It was the team's 2nd division title and they will attempt to capture the franchise's 1st ABA Development League championship.
"The end goal hasn't changed - win the World Series," said manager Matt Blade. "We think we've got the team to do it."
