Foley Wins StC Player of the Week

Quebec fans have something to crow about today as Quebec shortstop Dane Foley nabbed the Stripes Conference Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days.
"I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Foley.
He posted a .467 average (14-for-30) this past week with 2 home runs, 5 RBIs, and 10 runs scored.
Foley is hitting .263 so far this season with 26 RBIs and 35 runs scored. He has 67 hits including 5 home runs, 10 walks and .293 OBP.
