Jesters Heading to League Championship Series Saturday, September 23rd , 2023 The fans in Joilet are celebrating the Jesters victory over the Portland Mad Ants in the Division Series. They defeated the Portland Mad Ants 6-3 in the finale played at Mad Ants Ballpark to capture the series 4-1. Zach Williard was chosen the series' Most Valuable Player. The Jesters left fielder batted .263, drove in 3 runs and scored 3 runs in the series. "The Mad Ants are a good club and I don't mean any disrespect to their pitching staff, but things just felt easy this series," Williard said. "Everything at the plate seemed right." The Joilet Jesters don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Nashville Lasers - Lubbock Stampede series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece.
