Oaks Move on to League Championship Series Sunday, September 24th , 2023 The Orono Oaks have eliminated the Hickory Crawdads and are off to the League Championship Series. Orono won the final game by a 10-0 score and thus clinched the series 4-2. "We think this is our year, but we're taking it one game at a time," said Tyler Tolbert, who was named series MVP. For the series, Tolbert hit .318 with a .400 on-base percentage. He drove in 4 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Orono Oaks will play against the Spokane Selects in the next round.
