Selects Cruise to League Championship Series with Sweep Thursday, September 21st , 2023 The Spokane Selects had all facets of their game going and have swept the Walnut Park Bobcats in the Division Series. Spokane now heads off to the League Championship Series, after wrapping up the series with a 5-1 win. Bobby Butler was named MVP, as he put up a .389 batting average, with a .389 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Spokane Selects don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Hickory Crawdads - Orono Oaks series.
