Southern A Names Breene Best Batter

Eric Breene demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the Southern A Player of the Week Award.
The Pueblo first baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .500 average (13-for-26) with 4 home runs and 8 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor.
So far this season, Breene has put up a .367 batting average with 136 hits, 34 home runs and 82 RBIs.
