Hit Parade: Sandoval Pops 5 Hits

All game long, Huntsville's Eddie Sandoval was rattling the walls at Rogers Centre and banging out base hits against the Deltaville Deltas. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Rockets had a win, 10-6.
Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 22-year-old catcher said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this."
Eddie Sandoval singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th.
For the season, Sandoval is batting .304 with 28 hits and 5 home runs. He has scored 15 times and batted in 16.
