Tigers Lose Espinoza for Season

Travis Espinoza has to call it a season. The London Tigers closer sustained a season-ending injury against the Hamilton Bulldogs and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Espinoza was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as bone chips in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 5 months.
To date in 6 relief appearances, Espinoza has recorded 3 saves while posting an ERA of 3.00 and 5 strikeouts in 6 innings pitched. His totals for the year also include 1 win and no losses.
