W-AA Player of the Week Named

When it came to hitting the baseball, Pat Martin was in a class by himself in the Western AA this past week. Nobody did it better.
The outstanding first baseman for St. Louis tagged opposing pitchers for a .520 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 13 hits in 25 at-bats, 2 homers, 7 runs scored and 6 RBIs.
Thus far this season, Martin has hit .350 with 5 home runs, 21 RBIs and scored 28 times.
