AA Headline News: The All-Star Game Voting Begins

"Vote Early and Vote Often!"
While that may not be true for elections, that's the message coming out of the ABA Double A offices for the upcoming All-Star game, scheduled for Tuesday, June 14th , 2022. The ballots have been released, and everyone can cast your ballot up until a few days before the game, when the final rosters will be released.

Bang-up Game: Willi Slams 3 Homers

It was a good day for the Washington Wildthings and an exceptional one for Frank Willi. The 22-year-old first baseman sent three bombs out of the park to help the Wildthings beat the Alcoa Millionaires, 14-6, at Alcoa Grounds.
"When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Willi said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day."
For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 7 runs and smacked 4 hits in 6 at-bats.
Frank Willi hit a two-run home run off Chris Brown in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Jim Unknown in the 9th.
So far this season, Willi has recorded a .241 batting average with 26 hits, 7 home runs, 19 RBIs, 18 runs scored and a .331 OBP.
