W-AA Awards Outstanding Pitcher Trophy Saturday, October 24th , 2026 A sparkling 12-10 mark for the year just about says it all -- that's what Keith Carter of the Augusta Capitols put up this season. That's why the Western AA rated him the #1 hurler in the league and named him the 2026 Pitcher of the Year Award winner. He held opposing clubs to a .234 batting average and compiled a 2.26 ERA. Carter stood out with 124 strikeouts while giving up 143 hits and 54 walks in 167.1 innings. He received 23 first place votes out of a possible 24. Edwardo Rodriguez of the Hamilton Bulldogs finished second in voting, while Mike Pinion of the Cincinnati Bombardiers finished third with 1 first place vote.
