The future looks extremely bright for David Moore. At the age of 26, many players are still trying to find their way in ABA Double A.
Moore has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Eastern AA Most Valuable Player Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .287 this year, that's for sure," the right fielder said.
The Riverside Rotters star also put up a .384 on-base percentage this year, with 139 hits, 8 doubles, no triples, 40 home runs, 114 RBIs and 95 runs scored.
He received 18 first place votes out of a possible 24. Pat Grayson of the Winchester Mountaineers finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Billy Carroll of the Winchester Mountaineers finished third with 1 first place vote.
