Vancouver Playoff Hopes Officially Zero

It certainly could have been worse this year for the Vancouver Caribou, but that does not mean it was a season to remember. The team was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today.
The Caribou have made the playoffs 3 times in their 26 years as a American Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 7th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2018. In the last 10 seasons, the Caribou have made the playoffs 2 times.

Maine Pines Guaranteed Top Spot in National Conference North East Division

There's still a ways to go before the American Baseball Association regular season wraps up, but there won't be any drama in the National Conference North East Division.
The
Maine Pines have easily clinched the division crown, their 10th as a franchise.
"We did what we set out to do, you can't ask for any more than that," said reliever Nick Slover.
Team manager David Whigham said it's "been a pleasure" to lead his club thus far this year and he is looking forward to the postseason, where Maine will be looking for its 2nd American Baseball Association championship.

The Math Says - Hollywood Out of Playoffs

The Hollywood Stars have now been officially eliminated from playoff contention.
The Stars have missed the playoffs 13 times in their 15 years as a American Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2022.
