NC Trophy Goes to Jalbert of Cincinnati

When it came to hitting the baseball, Aaron Jalbert was in a class by himself in the National Conference this past week. Nobody did it better.
The outstanding first baseman for Cincinnati tagged opposing pitchers for a .435 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 10 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 homers, 6 runs scored and 12 RBIs.
In the current season, Jalbert has put up a .300 batting average with 87 hits, 10 home runs, 49 runs batted in and scored 39 runs.
