The future looks extremely bright for John Hunt. At the age of 19, many players are still trying to find their way in ABA College.
Hunt has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Conference 1 Most Valuable Player Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .413 this year, that's for sure," the shortstop said.
The Michigan State Spartans star also put up a .482 on-base percentage this year, with 81 hits, 15 doubles, 1 triple, 16 home runs, 43 RBIs and 48 runs scored.
He received 53 first place votes out of a possible 56. Jeff Yule of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Danny Velasquez of the Virginia Tech Hokies finished third.
