Williams Hit Streak Soars to 31 Games Friday, May 6th , 2022 Purdue first baseman Aaron Williams has extended his hitting streak to 31 straight games with a 1-for-4 day. However, the Miami Hurricanes seized the 2-1 victory over the Boilermakers at Alexander Field. "Disappointing," Williams said of the outcome. Aaron Williams grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. This year, Williams has hit 11 home runs and posted a .380 batting average. |
