BNN Says Pirates Manager Hinton Gone Monday, June 1st , 2026
The marriage is over in Sinton High School.
The rocky and often tumultuous relationship between Pirates skipper Danny Hinton and the front office has finally come to an end.
It's unclear what specifically led to the firing, but it is speculated to be a myriad of things, including a difference in philosophy. This leaves the Sinton High School Pirates in limbo as they search for another manager. No word was given to the press about his successor.
When reporters asked about the dismissal, Hinton responded, "It is what it is. They didn't like what I was doing and that's all that matters. Like I've told my players my entire managerial career, when bad things happen all you can focus on is turning the page. It's time I follow my own advice."
Roach was told of the decision during a 30-minute meeting with the club's general manager, who told BNN, "Nick was disappointed with the news, but understood that a change was needed."
Later at a press conference, Roach told reporters, "I thank the Oilers organization for giving me the opportunity and am proud of my accomplishments in Huntington Beach High School."
