Tony Martinez took ABA High School by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 15.

For his spectacular campaign, the De La Salle High School Spartans star has been named the 2023 ABA High School Most Valuable Player Award recipient.

"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the second baseman.

On the season he compiled a .462 batting average to go with a .511 on-base percentage. The native of San Francisco, California also added 14 doubles, 3 triples, 13 home runs, 32 RBIs and 51 runs scored.

He received 61 first place votes out of a possible 64. Angel Maldonado of the Allatoona High School Buccaneers finished second in voting, while T.J. Flanagan of the Taravella High School Trojans finished third.
