The two teams battled back and forth in a spirited series, with Pope High School coming out on top thanks to a 1-0 win in the deciding game at North Oconee High School Stadium, to wrap things up 4-3.
"You get to the last game and anything can happen, so we're overjoyed to come out on top," said Greyhounds catcher Matt Freeland, who was named series MVP.
For the series, Freeland had 11 hits for a .407 average. He had 1 home runs, 4 RBI and scored 3 runs.

When the entire season comes down to one game, Mark David said you find out what a team is really about.
"It wasn't hard to get excited for this game," said David, whose strong offensive output earned him MVP honors. "Our guys answered the call and proved a lot about what our team is all about."
David hit .516 with a .559 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 6 runs.
