Deltaville Hopeless Against Hesley Friday, April 30th , 2021 The Deltaville Deltas had no answer for Santa Rosa Desperados pitcher Justin Hesley. They failed to score a single run against him, losing, 22-0. Deltaville managed only 3 hits off Hesley, who had 10 strikeouts. The extraordinarily popular Hesley got a standing ovation from the hometown crowd as he left the field, the applause continuing until he returned from the dugout to tip his cap to the crowd. "Desperados fans are the best fans, in my opinion," he said. "It's a great feeling to throw a shutout under any circumstances, but to do it with the crowd behind you like that is just incredible."
