Hits Galore: Magnifico Drills 5 Hits Saturday, May 7th , 2022 Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Matt Magnifico of the Louisville Sweepers had one of those moments when he went 5-for-6 at the plate in his team's 10-7 win over the White Deer Tropics at Ballpark of White Deer. "I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 24-year-old first baseman told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years." Matt Magnifico struck out in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th, singled in the 10th and singled in the 12th.
