The Kalamazoo Comets welcomed the London Werewolves to an afternoon game at Werewolves Ballpark.

With catcher Angel Vargas leading the charge, the Kalamazoo Comets defeated the London Werewolves, 15-6, at Werewolves Ballpark. Vargas went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 4 times and drove in 4. The Comets now own a record of 13-16.

In the top of the third, David Shein delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and the bases loaded, the Kalamazoo right fielder hit a 2-run single, putting the Comets in front, 15-6.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Shein told a Kalamazoo News reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
