S-A Reliever of the Year Award Winner Named Monday, October 14th , 2024 At the age of 24, Micah Smith says he still has a lot to learn about life in ABA Class A. But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the London Werewolves reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2024 Southern A Reliever of the Year Award. "I hope to win this a few more times before all is said and done in my career," the Tysons Corner, Virginia native said. For the season, Smith had 6 saves in 53 relief appearances, which totaled 81.2. He fanned 98 betters, while walking 22 and put up a record of 8-0 to go with his 2.98 ERA. He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Kevin Farris of the London Werewolves finished second in voting, while Scott Sauer of the Dollywood Partons finished third.
