Dollywood Beats Santa Rosa in World Series Thursday, October 3rd , 2024 It was a hard-fought battle for both teams to make it this far. But as the saying goes, "to the victors go the spoils." For the victorious Dollywood Partons, that meant the ABA Class A World Series trophy. The Partons took a 8-4 victory over the Santa Rosa Desperados at Dolly Parton Ballpark, winning their 4th championship after taking the series 4-2. "We've got grit," said Partons first baseman George Kinder, who was named MVP of the series. "We know how to win when we have to."
