Lepp Bashes 5 Base Hits Friday, August 29th , 2025 Even as a kid, Devin Lepp said his coaches told him the key to hitting was making contact, and letting everything else flow from there. At Jet Hawks Ballpark, Lepp showed how well he learned that lesson. The 25-year-old left fielder had 5 hits in 5 at-bats for the Grand Rapids Jet Hawks, helping his team knock off the Cottage City Cannonballers by a score of 11-1. "They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did." Devin Lepp hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
