Fanning Batters White Deer Big Time Wednesday, August 19th , 2026 5 times is the charm -- at least for Shane Fanning. The Columbus Bowsers shortstop tore up the White Deer Tropics to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Ballpark of White Deer. The offensive onslaught from Fanning powered the 11-1 Bowsers win. "Fanning was a tough out," White Deer manager Gabriel Gonzalez said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his.
