5 times is the charm -- at least for Shane Fanning.

The Columbus Bowsers shortstop tore up the White Deer Tropics to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Ballpark of White Deer. The offensive onslaught from Fanning powered the 11-1 Bowsers win.

"Fanning was a tough out," White Deer manager Gabriel Gonzalez said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."

Shane Fanning singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
