Super Swinger -- Nalbach Slams 6 Hits Wednesday, August 7th , 2024 Steve Nalbach put on a hitting clinic at Engineers Ballpark, spraying hits all over the ballpark and lashing St. Catharines pitchers for 6 hits in 6 at-bats. However, the offensive onslaught wasn't enough for the Deltaville Deltas, who still fell, 11-10. "Sometimes I try to pull the ball too much, so today I just went with the pitch," Nalbach told reporters after the game. "It's great to get 6 hits, but it would have been nicer to win the ballgame. too." Steve Nalbach singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Dallas Price in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Chris Yarbrough in the 9th.
