Nashua Stops Chaloux Hit Streak Saturday, August 1st , 2026 Mike Chaloux, first baseman for the London Werewolves, gave it a good try, but his time chasing history came to an end when he went hitless in 4 tries against the Nashua Sweepers. Not only did the Sweepers break his 21-game hitting streak, they also beat London by the score of 3-2. "Now that the streak has ended, I can admit I'll breathe a bit easier the next time I step up to bat," Chaloux said, speaking with the media after the game. "It was tough because I put a little pressure on myself. Now that it's over, I will definitely be a little bit looser at the plate." Currently Chaloux has 27 home runs and a .292 batting average. |
