Hits Galore: Robertson Drills 5 Hits Wednesday, August 9th , 2023 Today at Cannonballers Ballpark, the Cottage City Cannonballers topped the Grand Rapids Jet Hawks in spite of a standout batting performance by second baseman Matthew Robertson. Robertson had a very impressive day at the plate, spanking Cottage City pitching for 5 base hits, but couldn't do enough for a win. Cottage City whipped Grand Rapids by the score of 7-6. Matthew Robertson singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. So far this season, Robertson is batting .248 with 9 home runs, 43 RBIs and 46 runs scored. He has 85 hits in 343 at-bats, 36 walks and a .331 OBP. Robertson has played in 87 games.
