Santa Rosa Sweeps into the World Series Sunday, September 26th , 2021 The Newark Flyers were simply overmatched by the Santa Rosa Desperados in the League Championship Series. The end result was a sweep, as Santa Rosa has cruised to the World Series, with the final win coming at Keelhaulers Ballpark by a score of 7-5. "We're clicking and running on all cylinders at the moment," said Ron Brook, who was named MVP of the League Championship Series. "We're a dangerous team when we play like this." For the series, Brook hit .455 with a .600 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Santa Rosa Desperados will play against the Dollywood Partons in the next round. Dollywood won their series against the Bangor Lumberjacks 4 games to 0.
