Tropics Clip Partons, 3-2, in CS Contest

The White Deer Tropics took down the Dollywood Partons by the score of 3-2 and moved into a 2-2 tie in the League Championship Series. The largest share of the credit belongs to White Deer starter Eric Zane, who threw 5.1 innings of shutout ball.
Zane tossed 90 pitches over 5.1 innings to clinch the win for the Tropics. The right-hander allowed just 1 hit, while racking up 10 strikeouts in the game.
"Eric's not intimidated by who's stepping into the batter's box," said White Deer manager Wil Olivares.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of White Deer in White Deer.
