Black 6-for-6 for Storm Thursday, July 20th , 2023 It was a hits blitz for Dan Black at Aggies Ballpark. The Lake Elsinore Storm first baseman tore into the Atlanta Aggies for 6 hits in 6 at-bats, but it wasn't enough to win the game. The Aggies swept past the Storm, 14-13, to ruin Black's day. "We weren't locating our pitches well," Lake Elsinore manager Alex Archila explained after the game. "Once you get behind in the count, you have to make really good pitches, rather than pretty good pitches, and we weren't able to do that today. Getting 6 hits from Dan was nice but it wasn't enough." Dan Black singled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Adam Downing in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 9th.
