Flyers Advance to League Championship Series Sunday, September 19th , 2021 Manny Stevenson said his Newark Flyers simply weren't ready for the season to come to an end. "We told ourselves we were winning this series no matter what," he said, shortly after being named the Division Series MVP, following a 3-2 win at Newark Fields that officially eliminated the San Antonio Stallions, 4-2. Stevenson said his team is "confident and ready" for the League Championship Series. The Newark Flyers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Santa Rosa Desperados - St. Catharines Blue Jays series. That series is tied at 3 games apiece.
