The first-place Little Rock Golden Gophers took on the Waco Warlocks in front of a spirited crowd.

The Little Rock Golden Gophers knocked off the Waco Warlocks, 6-4, in Sub League 1 action at Little Rock Grounds. Little Rock pitcher and Dallas, Texas, native Brad Martin had an outstanding performance. In 7 innings, Martin surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run.

The Golden Gophers got a big at-bat from second baseman Dan McNamara. For the game, McNamara was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 22nd home run of the season gave Little Rock a 3-1 lead.
