5-Hit Game for Jubin
Sunday, June 7th , 2026
Even as a kid, Eric Jubin said his coaches told him the key to hitting was making contact, and letting everything else flow from there. At Kansas City Grounds, Jubin showed how well he learned that lesson.
The 24-year-old center fielder had 5 hits in 7 at-bats for the Tyler Trolls, helping his team knock off the Kansas City Dust Devils by a score of 20-6.
"They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did."
Eric Jubin doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Rich Gonzalez in the 5th, flied out in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 9th.
This year, Jubin has socked 67 hits in 209 at-bats for a .321 average with 3 home runs. He is getting on base at a .374 pace and his totals also include 20 RBIs and 29 runs scored.
