White Goes on Rampage Against Cannonballers Sunday, May 31st , 2026 Kansas City third baseman Frank White had a fantastic day at the plate at Cannonballers Ballpark, knocking out 5 hits and pacing his club to a win, 13-4. "It was like I was hitting Little League pitching," White said after his 5-for-6 performance against the Cannonballers. "No offense meant to Cottage City, but it was like I was back in little league again -- I could see the ball that well. But this wasn't a kid park, it was Cannonballers Ballpark." After the game, his manager elaborated on the third baseman's improvements, saying White spent the offseason trying to shorten his swing and stay inside the ball. "That's what I'm trying to do," White said. "Be quick to the ball and let it travel a little farther so I get a better look at it." Frank White singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
