Poplar Bluff Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Wednesday, August 18th , 2021 Not even a late-season surge can save the Poplar Bluff Hillbillies playoff hopes this season. The team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Poplar Bluff last appeared in the postseason in 2018. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 12 times in their 22-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Hillbillies have missed the playoffs 6 times. |
