Hillbillies Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Tuesday, August 6th , 2019 Any hopes of a playoff berth for the Poplar Bluff Hillbillies this season were already a long shot at best. But even the longshot hopes are now gone, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. Before this season, the Hillbillies last missed the playoffs in 2017. In the 20 years they have been a ABA Class-A League franchise, they have missed the playoffs 10 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Hillbillies have made the playoffs 5 times. |
