Viglione Torches Aggies for 5 Hits Tuesday, August 3rd , 2021 Jim Viglione told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard." Well, that's just what Viglione of the Louisville Sweepers did against the Atlanta Aggies. He went to the plate 5 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, but his club still suffered a defeat, 6-5. "Not much I can say," offered Viglione in the postgame press conference. "I got a bunch of hits, but it would have been much better to get a win. Can I trade 5 hits for the win?" Jim Viglione hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
