Riding the 3-hit performance of the 24-year old left fielder Oscar de Leon, the Dollywood Partons defeated the Pueblo Heroes, 10-1. The Partons, at 80-27, have a comfortable 22-game lead in their division.

Matt Batdorf had a big 3-run home run for the Partons in the bottom of the second inning. With Dollywood leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from Wes Gordon, who is tied for 7th in the S-A in strikeouts with 124, and swatted a home run to left-center. It was his 8th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Partons ahead, 5-0.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Dollywood manager Adam Freeman.
