Star of the Week Selected in S-A Monday, May 24th , 2021 The Poplar Bluff Hillbillies received word today that third baseman Matt Flood was selected Southern A Player of the Week for his stellar performance in last week's games. Flood took full advantage of all 26 plate appearances last week as he hit .333 with 7 hits, 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This year, Flood is batting .238 with 9 home runs and 28 RBIs. |
