Douglass Pitches Gem as Tailgators Beat Montreal, 3-0 Friday, April 23rd , 2021 In an outstanding mound performance, Chesapeake Tailgators starter Nick Douglass fired a complete-game shutout against the Montreal Royals at Tailgators Ballpark. Douglass was the key to the 3-0 Chesapeake win. The 21-year-old right-hander was in high spirits for much of the game, his mood largely unfazed by the 2 hits and no walks he allowed.
