Mendoza Muzzles Dillonvale Bats Wednesday, April 27th , 2022 In an outstanding mound performance, New Rochelle Purple Wave starter Jim Mendoza fired a complete-game shutout against the Dillonvale Indians at Black Diamonds Ballpark. Mendoza was the key to the 5-0 New Rochelle win. The 25-year-old left-hander was in high spirits for much of the game, his mood largely unfazed by the 3 hits and 1 walk he allowed.
