Whitney hits 2 home runs, Westwood Gets 11-5 Victory
A 5-RBI performance from John Whitney, who is tied for 5th in the StC in bases on balls with 7, helped the Westwood Bruins beat the Quebec Aces, 11-5. Mike Bryan got the win, improving to 2-0. He worked 6.1 innings, giving up 5 runs on 11 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 0. The loss drops Quebec to 6-9.

In the top of the first inning, right fielder Joel Patrick had a 2-run double for Westwood. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Bruins on top, 2-0.

"It was great to come out and swing the bats," Patrick told the Westwood Today.
