Carachure Stops Dillonvale Cold, 10-0 Friday, August 22nd , 2025 The Dillonvale Indians had no answer for Palm Springs Heat pitcher Carlos Carachure. They failed to score a single run against him, losing, 10-0. Dillonvale managed only 6 hits off Carachure, who had 11 strikeouts. The extraordinarily popular Carachure got a standing ovation from the hometown crowd as he left the field, the applause continuing until he returned from the dugout to tip his cap to the crowd. "Heat fans are the best fans, in my opinion," he said. "It's a great feeling to throw a shutout under any circumstances, but to do it with the crowd behind you like that is just incredible."
