On a Roll: Carter Hits for Cycle Sunday, July 21st , 2024 Today at Lasers Ballpark, Nashville Lasers first baseman Gregg Carter accomplished a true baseball rarity, knocking a single, double, triple and a home run to hit for the cycle and lead the Lasers to a win, 12-1, over the Laredo Ghosts. In a standout performance, Carter laced 4 hits in 4 at-bats and had 1 RBI. "I felt good before the game, I felt good during it, and I feel great now," Carter told reporters. Gregg Carter hit a solo-shot off Daniel Mitchell in the 1st, singled in the 4th, tripled in the 5th and doubled in the 6th. For the season, Carter has hit .274 with 23 home runs and 52 RBIs.
