Good production from shortstop Frank Lewis helped the El Paso Chupacabras topple the Joilet Jesters, 9-2. Lewis was 3-5 with a triple and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Chupacabras. El Paso is now 53-41.

El Paso grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Lewis hit a 2-run double off Jim Patterson. His 10th double of the season put the Chupacabras out in front, 3-1.

"It's always nice to be on the winning side," Lewis told the El Paso Daily News. "But we take nothing for granted."
