Governors Prevail, as Division Series Goes to the Wire Tuesday, September 27th , 2022 The Little Rock Governors are off to the League Championship Series after an exciting Division Series triumph. Little Rock downed the Hartford Matadors, but needed the entire series to do so, with a 4-3 win tonight at Ballpark of Tacoma wrapping up the series 4-3. "It's every guy in this room that made this happen. Without us all pulling in the same direction, we don't win this series," said Mike DeWitt, who earned MVP honors for a standout offensive series. DeWitt put up a .308 with a .333 on-base percentage in the series. He also had 3 home runs, drove in 7 runs and scored 3 runs himself. The Little Rock Governors will play against the Nashville Lasers in the next round. Nashville won their series against the Montreal Royals 4 games to 1.
