The Ottawa Lynx used the hitting of designated hitter Brian Johnson to subdue the Santa Ana Black Aces, 11-9. For the game, Johnson went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 5. Ricardo Alva closed the game out for Ottawa, earning his 1st save.

In the first inning, Johnson had a 2-run double for Ottawa. It was his 7th double of the season and put the Lynx on top, 2-0.

"It feels good to get this one," Johnson told the Ottawa Today.

The Lynx improved their record to 31-28 with the win over Santa Ana.
