Oaks Come up Short of Playoffs Sunday, September 18th , 2022 It is an "empty" feeling for members of the Orono Oaks, according to club manager Mike Sanchez. That's because the team was mathematically eliminated today from playoff contention. The Oaks had a streak of 10 straight playoff appearances before this year. In the 18 years they have been a ABA Development League franchise, they have made the playoffs 11 times. Orono has won the World Series 2 times in their history. |
