Canadiens Buried - Out of Playoffs Sunday, August 13th , 2023 Did anyone think the Montreal Canadiens had a chance at the postseason this year? It was already quite unlikely, and now even the smallest hopes have been dashed -- the team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Montreal last appeared in the postseason in 2010. This is their 13th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 20 times in their 24-year history. |
