Nelson Goes 5-for-6 Wednesday, July 9th , 2025 It was a parade of hits for Aaron Nelson of the Orono Oaks at Jackie Robinson Stadium. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Nelson finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Oaks to a win, 3-2. "Nelson was really good and we were really bad," groaned Bruins manager Hasan Raif. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Aaron Nelson singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Lorenzo Landin in the 9th, singled in the 11th and singled in the 13th.
