Oaks Rally to Eke Out Win
The Orono Oaks downed the Westwood Bruins, 3-2, in 13 innings. Aaron Nelson led the way, going 5-for-6 for Orono. The win went to Justin Cox in relief, making him now 4-1. Justin Weil took the loss for Westwood. With the win, Orono goes to 47-37, while the Bruins fall to 48-36.

Orono used the clutch hitting of Jake Hoffmann to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a solo home run in the top of the 13th inning to put the Oaks ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"This game tested our mettle," said Hoffmann.
