Montreal's Borrego Snaps Up Player of the Week Monday, July 7th , 2025 One of the league's most exciting young players, Alan Borrego of the Montreal Canadiens earned himself Stars Conference Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 24-year-old first baseman had a lofty .417 average (10-for-24), collecting 5 home runs, 11 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Borrego is hitting .225 this year with 15 home runs and 44 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .301, 20 walks and scored 30 times. |
