Bobcats Move on to League Championship Series Friday, September 24th , 2021 The Walnut Park Bobcats out-dueled and outgunned the Hickory Crawdads in the Division Series and are on to the next round. Walnut Park won the final game 7-3 at Ballpark of Walnut Park and the series 4-1. Ionut Irimia was named series MVP for a strong offensive performance during the Division Series. He had a .500 average with a .538 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 3 runs. "I was seeing the ball well and glad to help my team out and get us to the League Championship Series," he said. The Walnut Park Bobcats don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Orono Oaks - Fremont Marshalls series. Orono leads the series 3 games to 2.
