Canadiens Mathematically Out of Playoffs Friday, August 19th , 2022 Fans of the Montreal Canadiens have long since given up hope of the club making a serious playoff push this season. But now those hopes are officially gone, as the club was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Montreal last appeared in the postseason in 2010. This is their 12th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 19 times in their 23-year history. |
